Raw Buckwheat Pancakes

Raw Buckwheat Pancakes

These raw buckwheat pancakes are a great way to start the day, packed with protein and vitamins. They taste delicious on their own, topped with maple syrup, fruit, or raw almond yogurt.

Buckwheat is a gluten free grain (actually a seed) with so many nutritional benefits that it’s often considered a superfood. Sprouting further enhances its nutritional value also. It’s high in protein and fiber, as well as antioxidants, amino acids, vitamins, and minerals. It can help lower cholesterol and blood sugar levels, improve heart health and digestion, and prevent diabetes.

Almonds are packed with protein, vitamins, nutrients, and antioxidants. They can help control weight, blood sugar and blood pressure, manage cholesterol, protect the heart.

Flax seeds are a great source of protein, fiber, omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals. They can improve cholesterol, prevent cancer, lower blood pressure, manage blood sugar levels, and aid in weight loss.

And last but not least is the humble banana. I think we’re all familiar with bananas, but did you know about all their nutritional benefits? They can help improve digestion, manage blood sugar, and aid in healthy weight loss. They’re full of antioxidants, and they’re also good for your heart and kidneys.

So as you can see, this raw buckwheat pancakes recipe brings together some of my favorite healthy ingredients to create an energizing breakfast that’s tastes as good as it will make you feel.
